Steamed Beech wardrobes with adjoining dressing room.
This wardrobe and dressing room fit out was part of a major renovation done with GSC builders of sussex. Whilst they got on with the building work we fitted the house out with furniture and completed a lot of the bespoke woodwork.
The double wardrobe was made from solid steamed beech and steamed beech veneer, it was split up into a his and hers side. The wardrobe was built into a large void in the wall that was left from knocking through into the extension. This meant it only protruded into the room by 20cm’s making very little impact on the floor space.
The dressing room was designed to tie in with the bedroom but if it was built all in steamed beech it would have made the room very dark. To bring a bit of light into the room the units were built and and spray finished in semi-gloss white and the doors and drawers made to the same design as the wardrobes in matching steamed beech.
